Aggregate and Ready-mix Operations

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Under the guidance of the Maintenance Team Leaders, the successful applicants will be placed on a training programme to qualify in an artisan trade. We have opportunities for external learnerships in the following trades:

  • 1 X Electrician
  • 1X Boilermaker
  • 1 X Fitter

A learnership agreement, on a fixed term basis, will be entered into between the Company and the selected candidates. The agreement will also be registered with the MQA.
The development plan for Learnerships entails the following:

  • Off-the-job training at an identified Technical Training Centre
  • On-the-job training to ensure that learners are exposed to mechanical and electrical equipment and maintenance practices.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants who are technically inclined and are in possession of at least a N2 with relevant subjects for the positions advertised above are invited to apply. Applicants must also be in the possession of a valid driver’s license.

NOTE:

The selection process will include assessments to establish the technical aptitude of the applicants. Upon conclusion of the assessments applicants will be selected and informed of interviews to be conducted.
