Job Description:

The successful incumbent who is competent and reliable who will fulfill the necessary requirements within the Maintenance Department to meet the Company’s objectives at all times by providing plant availability to ensure a facility that enables the production of vehicles of high quality standard in a cost-effective manner.




Tasks:

  • Organizing and planning spares required for maintenance activities
  • Maintenance and Fault Finding on electrical panel
  • Recording of performance data and generate reports
  • Participating in Projects, development and kaizen activities
  • Continuous learning and self-improvement
  • Must be prepared to work shifts, overtime and standby as and when required
  • Repairing machine breakdowns and fault-finding
  • Supporting relevant departments
  • Servicing, testing of portable Electrical tools and Machine tools
  • Maintaining high safety, Health and environment standards
  • Daily preventative Maintenance checks and repairs.
  • Developing of Apprentices and staff
  • Maintaining quality standards and work in accordance with ISO standards

Qualifications and Experience:

  • N3 qualification
  • Trade Test
  • Minimum 2 years post apprenticeship experience
  • Knowledge of PLC programming would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Electro-Pneumatics & Hydraulics
  • Wireman’s license would be advantageous
