Aggregate and Ready-mix Operations




AfriSam (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd is one of the largest suppliers of construction-related materials, specializing in the production of Cement, Aggregate and Ready-mix Concrete. Operating in five Southern African countries, the company offers a wide scope of career opportunities and exposure to best business practices.

To ensure the continued success of our business, we need people with the necessary technical skills and knowledge that are required in our various operations. We are offering two in-service training opportunities to talented and high performing full-time students at tertiary level, in the following field:

  • Mechanical Engineering, Surface Mining, Civil Engineering


Students need to pass all subjects and obtain an average of 60 % to qualify for selection. This is an opportunity for students that have completed their theoretical studies and are now ready to do the practical requirements (P1 & P2). Successful applicants will be placed at KZN to gain experience.
