TITLE: Assistant Manager (Building, Bridges and Structures)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • National Diploma in Facilities Management/ Engineering /Electrical / Civil Quantity Surveying /Building and construction
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in Facilities environment and or Civil Engineering
  • Eligible to register with ECSA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk and Environmental management
  • Maintenance management
  • Manage requisite Changes to enhance efficiencies in energy and resource usage
  • Investigate service problems in conjunction with the client and introduce suitable solutions to the problem to ensure client satisfaction
  • Land invasion Management
  • Condition assessments on facilities
  • Manage the provision of hard facilities services for the region
  • Tenant liaison/providing customer service
  • Maintenance and water usage analysis and Investigations of all PRASA and Freight Rail station
  • Manage staff performance
  • Compile Maintenance plan and requisite capital and operational Budgets
  • Manage the performance of service providers in line with their contracts for the provision of service
  • Capacitate functional teams
  • Manage all resources to ensure the effective utilization of operational capacity.
